Obituary For Danisha Nicole Feggins

MS. DANISHA NICOLE FEGGINS, daughter of Ricky A. and Linda Patillo Feggins, was born January 7, 1994 in Richmond, VA and departed this life suddenly May 29, 2024 at her home in LaCrosse, VA.

At an early age she was baptized and joined Union Meherrin RZUA Church, Brodnax, VA.

Danisha was a 2012 graduate from the former Park View High School, South Hill, VA and furthered her education by receiving an Associate degree in Arts and Science in 2014, an Associate Degree in Applied Science in 2017, both from Southside Virginia Community College, Alberta, VA. In 2021 she was bestowed upon with a certificate from the FBI Collegiate Academy. She later received a BA degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia State University, Petersburg, VA in 2023.

Danisha was employed by Dollar General Store, Gasburg, VA, Comfort Inn, South Hill, VA and Occaneechi State Park, Clarksville, VA.

Danisha leaves to cherish her memory: her parents- Ricky A. and Linda P. Feggins of the home; grandparents- Willie Mae Feggins, South Hill, VA and Ben Patillo, Clarksville, VA; aunts- Debbie Feggins, Wake Forest, NC and Sharon King, Richmond, VA; uncles- William (Sharita) Feggins and Roger Feggins, Raleigh, NC; Marcus Feggins, Goldsboro, NC; great aunts- Marie Lambert, Bracey, VA; Virginia Smith, LaCrosse, VA; Dare Feggins, Annie Whitfield, both of South Hill, VA and Catherine Whitehead, Marion Whitfield, both of Brodnax, VA; great-uncles- George Whitfield, Chase City, VA and Joe Whitehead, Richmond, VA.
