CAROLYN CRENSHAW, daughter of the late Alfred and the late Geneva Hansard Crenshaw was born December 21, 1953 in Baskerville, VA. She departed this life suddenly February 6, 2024 at her residence in Chase City, VA. She was also preceded in death by her siblings- James Alfred βPete,β Charles Leonard, Eleanor, Gloria Mae, and Marilyn.
At an early age Carolyn was baptized and joined Bloom Hill Baptist Church. She was a 1972 graduate of the former Park View Senior High School.
Carolyn was employed for over 20 years at McDonalds and retired as a Staff Manager.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading and planting flowers. Carolyn loved photography and sky gazing. She owned telescopes, binoculars, and multiple cameras. One of her winter scenic photographs won an international photo award in 2022.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories: her sister- Lois Anne Reed of Philadelphia, PA; brother- Robert Lee Crenshaw of Philadelphia, PA; three aunts- Bessie Dortch, Patricia H. Williams, and Barbara Hansard; uncle- Dwight (Shannon) Hansard, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
