There is not enough words in the English language that can sum up the life that Elder William Upchurch lived. I recall all of our many conversations about the Lord and his words of encouragement and joy that he shared with me while I was going through my time of bereavement. He truly touched many lives and now he can take his rest from this natural life and bask in the glory of Kingdom living.

There is a quote that say, "Many friends come into our lives, but only a few leave with their footprints on our hearts". On or around 1997/98, I was in the military when I met the Madera and Trenessa. They introduced me to their Dad and Mom; Mr. and Mrs. Upchurch. At that time, I thought I just met an awesome family and I did of course, however it was much more. I believe God not only place the Upchurch's in my life as family away from home but to show me a Family Man of God, Mr. William Upchurch.
