Edward Alphonso Woodbury, known as "Woody" passed away on March 23, 2023 in Miami, Florida. Service: 11:00am Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Community Bible Baptist Church, 9855 SW 152nd Street, Miami, Florida 33157. Our thoughts and prayers goes out to the family.
"Woody" was a great (AlphaPhiAlpha)line brother and could always put a smile on anyone's face. That incredible sense of humor is what I will miss the most. Nothing will ever replace his energy and just how much he meant to all who crossed his path. I think back on the fun we had together during the weeks we spent pledging, as some of the best times in my life. My heart goes out to his family and I send my deepest condolences. Harold Clack(6)
Rest in peace Woody.
Deepest sympathy to Woody's family and friends. May remembering the good times bring you peace. Love each other. Candice Mothersille from UF
Elvia, and I extend our dearest sympathy to the Woodbury family. We are fellow Gators. Woody and I pledge the Theta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. I had the privilege of calling him "Big Brother" as my line immediately followed him. I will always remember those college days which swiftly pass with fondness. I will remember the alumni days in which we shared the mission of Alpha to develop leaders and to advocate for our communities, when we would run into each other at conferences. Woody will be missed by many who recall his big laugh, his sense of humor, his sense of honor, and love for family.
Farewell dear brother, transcendent art thou. Rev. Roger and Elvia Williams.
