Obituary For Robert Banner

Mr. Robert Louis “Jap” Banner, 79, of 215 Merit Drive Shelby, NC departed this life on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at his residence. He was born on May 3, 1944 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Harry and the late Maggie Watson Banner.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Hopper’s Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday and at other times at the home.

I remember when Louis was in good health he was always so kind to me when I visited their home.He was very family orientied and loved his family dearly. I know he was tired and God blessed him with almost 4 score years and by his loving mercy called him home. Jeanette you were a loving, compassionate and faithful wife for almost 60 years. You, Chrystal and the boys took very good care of him.
