My deepest sympathties to the Poston family. Gerald and I began our friendship at Cleveland High School and our First grade teacher was Pagan. Mrs. Pagan taught us how to respect others and authority. We were taught by the same teachers for six wonderful years until integration of the schools. Our Sixth grade teacher was Mrs. Gibson and she taught us how to use a fork with a knife. Gerald stop a fight that I was losing and he always had my back. Gerald was a good brother who always had your back. Family I would like be there to help celebrate the life of Gerald but know that Jesus will always have your back.

My Prayers and Condolences to the Poston Family. We were high school competitors in football and track, and I always remember his happy upbeat attitude. I used to love to watch him glide over the high hurdles! I have good memories of a friend and strong competitor, God Bless you and your many memories!
To Ashley, Gerald's children and his family. Let me offer my deepest condolences for your loss. Though Gerald and I seldom communicated, his health and his well being were always of great concern to me. I know that in time God will lift the weight of this heavy burden. Until then know that if we are faithful and our faith remains in Christ, we shall see Gerald again. jlp
