Obituary For Dorothy Schenck

Dorothy McCrary Schenck was born on April 3, 1943 to the late Payton and Syretha McCrary. She departed this life on October 15, 2022. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 26, 1993. She was employed most of her life as a Machinist until she retired in 2005. She loved Design and Fashion, Interior Decorating, and Event Planning.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Gene McCrary, Thomas McCrary, David Lee McCrary, James Berry, Alonzo McCrary, and Elton McCrary; Sisters: Lillie Durant, Vivian McCrary, and Jessie Ruth Moseley and a granddaughter, Porscha Brooks.

She leaves to cherish her memories (1) Daughter: Abby Webber (Michael) of Cherryville, NC; (2) Sons: Gene W. Schenck Jr. (Sharon) of Hinesville, GA; and Warren G. Schenck II (Helen) of Lawndale, NC; (3) Sisters: Ella Taylor of Ft. Wayne, IN; Bennie Bonner (Jimmy) of Columbus, MS; and Elizabeth Miller of Columbus, MS; (2) Brothers: Payton McCrary Jr; Terry Dumas (Teresa) all of Columbus, MS; (1) Brother-in-law: Randy Moseley of Denver, CO; and (1) Sister-in-law: Hannah McCrary of Columbus, MS.(7) Grandchildren: Naquisha L. Schenck, Sharanza Kelly (Franklin), Michael Webber Jr., Warren Schenck III, Nakiyah Webber, Bridgette Blanton, and Brandon White. (11) Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday. Sympathy Cards can be mailed to Abby Webber and Family, P.O.482 Waco, NC 28169.
