Obituary For Angela Boger

Mrs. Angela Marie Kelly Boger, AKA “Angie” departed this life on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born October 7, 1964, to the late B.K. Jr. and Thelma Nance Kelly.

Angie attended Crest High School in Boiling Springs and Shelby High School in Shelby, NC.

She enjoyed working on cars and doing other outdoor activities with her husband. She was very outgoing, adventurous and a lot of fun. She was known to her family as a “Dancing Machine”. She was not afraid of much, if anything.

She was preceded in death by her father, B.K. Kelly Jr., her mother, Thelma Nance Kelly, her brother, Franklin Kelly, her nephew, Michael Evans Kelly, Jr., and brother-in-law, Nicholas Boger.

She leaves to cherish fond memories to her beloved husband Aquellous Boger, Son, Casey Walker (Kirsten Moore), grandchildren: Nova and Skylnn Walker, her brother, Michael Kelly (Valerie), Sisters-in-Law Trisha Boger Liu and Katrina Boger. Three nieces, Kendra Kelly and Ashley Kelly of Shelby, Destiny Lee of Greensboro, one nephew, Jahmell Willis. Two uncles, Robert Kelly of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Reverend Roosevelt Kelly (Lola) of Shelby, North Carolina. Aunts: Josephine Degree, Annie Mae Foster of Washington, DC., Jeannie Nance, Mary Nance, Christine Nance and Bettie Jean Nance all of Shelby, NC, two special cousins, Patrick Nance of Charlotte, NC and Travis Nance of Shelby, NC and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Fairview A.M.E. Zion Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 12:30 PM on Wednesday and at other times at 1516 King Arthur Court in Shelby.
