Mr. Allen Michael Littlejohn departed this life on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Atrium Health-Kings Mountain in Kings Mountain, NC. He was the son of Dannie Lee Littlejohn and Dianne Smith Littlejohn.
Allen also known as “Mike” or “Big Mike” was a very precocious student growing up Shelby graduating from Shelby High School in 2001where he was also on the basketball team. He furthered his education at Gardner Webb University graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2005. Allen was currently employed with at Hanes in Kings Mountain.
Allen was always a very easy going person who was equally very lovable, kindhearted and humble. His pastimes included collecting things, playing video games and spending time with his girls. He was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Tarheels basketball.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leon and Etoulia Smith and his paternal grandparents.
He is survived by his mother, Dianne Smith Littlejohn of Shelby, NC; three daughters, Olivia, Nora and Rachel and their mother, Dianne Emily Littlejohn; his brother, Ryan Littlejohn and wife Billie of Ellenboro, NC; two nephews, Deshun Dawson and James Anderson, Jr; one aunt, Verlena Guest; four uncles, William Lynch, Franklin Smith (Becky), Walter J. Smith and Rev. Truman Smith (Brenda) and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 3:00 PM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. He can be viewed from 9:00 AM til 1:00 PM at the chapel on Saturday. Burial will take place at the Sunset Cemetery.
