Nanetha E. Mattews, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on October 27, 2023. The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Rosa L. Parks Church of God, 1701 Rosa L. Parks Avenue, Montgomery, Al 36108, with Pastor James I. Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Brassell Cemetery, 965 Charlie Brassell Place Montgomery, AL 36117, with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ms. Matthews will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

My condolences 💐 to the Matthew's Family Shay and Shanetta y'all are like my family my sisters in Christ Tinkle Bell like my mother in Christ I've been knowing yall for forever and a day I wish truly miss mom I remember the memories we all had together I couldn't stay away from yall house we was always together at mom house sitting on the porch. I spent the night over more than I was at my own house that's just how close we are just know that our mom is at peace now she's no longer suffering I will always love her as my mom and y'all as my sisters.
