I loved Mr. Bell, he was the best boss I've ever had! He was so funny and always in such good spirits! I will miss him dearly and I'm grateful for all of the memories we made while working for him! My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family. Mr. Bell was my employer and a father figure to me. I miss him and always will. I will miss discussing Alabama football with him. Mr Bell built a very respected and successful business when all odds were against him. He was a very good businessman. He paved the way for growth in Montgomery. Mr Bell was the best boss a person could ever have, he always had his employees back no matter what the circumstances. My Uncle Bubba was absolutely amazing. I'm heart broken that he is no longer with us. It gave me much pleasure doing things for him. There were times I ordered food from restaurants and had it delivered to make sure he had food. Making a phone asking friends that genuinely cared for him to drop by and check on him to make sure that he was doing well and had what he needed. I loved sending him gifts....he really enjoyed each one of them. I appreciate everything that he did for me. We shared some of the same ethics. My uncle valued my opinions. I loved talking to him and the laugh was phenomenal. My siblings and I loved our uncle dearly. My mother loved her brother unconditionally and would move the earth for him. My Uncle Bubba will truly be missed. I cherish every moment and conversation we had. I love My Uncle Bubba to the moon and back 2X. I remember Bubba coming up to me & giving his Condelonce. My dad always call Eddie (Bubba yo) That what I remember being my dad oldest Child. The time I got to know (bubba) from being a little girl up until I was a grown. He always had a big smile every time I saw him. Eddie was an outstanding father to our daughter. He would often dress up in his cowboy attire and visit her school, and put on a western show for her class. When she was two, he bought her her very own set of custom golf clubs and began teaching her to play golf. He would often take her along with him when he played golf on the weekends and they would spend hours on the course. The two of them shared the same passion for golf and she also enjoyed watching football with him. All of her friends loved him and would often tell her that she had a "cool dad".

He spent a lot of time teaching her about business from a young age; he instilled in her the importance of hard work and having a good work ethic. He always told her that she could achieve anything that she put her mind to. Eddie was kind, patient, and very loving.

I am grateful to his sister Zeola and her children, for taking the time to drive from Atlanta to care for him and even ordering meals to have delivered to him, at times when no one else was available to help him. He and I spoke frequently and there was never a phone call that he did not acknowledge how grateful he was to have his sister and his nieces and nephews in his life.

We are heartbroken but we find peace in knowing that heaven has gained another angel. Love always, Tomiyo

Uncle Eddie, my mother, Zeola's younger brother between Eddie And Cordelia Bell was the world's greatest uncle. He was kind, hard-working, fun-loving, and loving in general. He will definitely be missed and I will cherish our times together. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of his life, being there for him in his old age, in any way that I could, whether by spending family time at home, going to VA appointments, out to dinner, and even by making trips to the grocery store. Uncle (Bubba) Eddie was a great uncle and friend, and I am praying for the healing comfort and peace for our entire family, loved ones, and friends.
