Obituary For Harold Hunter
Mr. Harold Robert Hunter, Sr., 84 of Denver, North Carolina transitioned on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Novant Health of Huntersville, North Carolina.
He was born August 6, 1940 to the late Johnson Hunter, Sr. and Wilma McCray Hunter.
Harold was a member of Rock Hill United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He graduated from Newbold High School, and furthered his education at Gaston and Central Piedmont Community College.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Rock Hill United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A public viewing will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 at the funeral home between 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Many of us remember Harold from McGuire Nuclear Station. He was always a great fellow to talk to. He held many positions there and was friends to many. I posted his obituary on the closed group of Duke Energy and there are so many responses and great words spoken of this man. Condolences to all from his former Duke Energy co workers.
