Denise was the one of the sweetest, most considerate people I've ever known. She and I spoke on the phone for years, cousins bought together thru the wonders of social media. We got on like we've known each other forever. She was such a gentle soul. She made me feel just how rooted in love and faith our family is. We have truly lost a walking embodiment of grace, beauty, and love. She will be truly missed but she will never be forgotten.
My Dear Cousin, words can't express how I feel. May your light continue to shine through each of us. I will love and cherish you until the end of time. Love you always. Teresa Lattimore Joseph
It is with deep sadness that we received word of the passing of our Cousin Denise Stinson. Denise has always been a blessing to the Stinson family. She carried a spirit of peace, humility, and one that reflected the love of Christ. She was very active with the Stinson Family Reunion and her presence will be greatly missed. Denise was truly a woman of faith. She fought the good fight, kept the faith, and finished the course. We pray that our Heavenly Father bless Manly, Von, Michael and the extended family with peace and comfort in this time of sorrow and grief. ~ Rev. Dr. Bennie L. Stinson, Rev. Reva T. Stinson, and children

Dear Von & family...I am so sorry to hear of your sweet daughter's passing. I'm not sure if you remember me, but we met when we both worked at Catawba County Schools central office. I'm thinking that Spanky Ramseur recruited you to fill in there for a while. I was in the office at the Annex building, and I always enjoyed talking with you. You spoke a lot about Denise...and at some point she & I connected on Facebook. I loved to read her posts and I could tell that she was a special lady. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers, especially in the upcoming days and weeks. May God give you comfort and peace. Much love and sympathy to you and to all who loved Denise.
Sincerely, Donna Evans Claremont NC

Though we have only communicated through social media over the past few decades, Denise's kindness and beauty were still evident. My heart goes out to her loved ones. Kelly Broyles Mekdeci

What a pleasure it has been to have known and fellowshipped with such a truly lovely, intelligent, and skillful woman of GOD. She never met a stranger and had the ability to transform an atmosphere with her infectious smile and her charm. Graceful, Elegant and Poised. Oh how she loved her nephew Ayden and boy how he loved her. They would hang out together for hours. They also had many secrets and Ayden was never shy about letting you know that either. Denise also was a wealth of information. She has helped countless numbers of people all over the USA, but you'd never know it by her humility. OH DENISE HOW YOU WILL FOREVER BE LOVED. TILL WE MEET AGAIN MY DEAR SWEETHEART.* To the Stinson and Farley Families, I will continue praying Psalm 23.......AND, Denise will dwell in the house of our LORD, FOREVER, In JESUS THE CHRIST NAME, Amen
