Obituary For David Evans
David Wilson Evans, Sr. age 82 of Vale, North Carolina transitioned on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at CaroMont Health in Gastonia, North Carolina.
Dave was born in Burke County, North Carolina on July 4, 1939 to the late James Evans, Sr. and Sarah Griggs Evans. He was married to the late Alberta Watkins. Dave attended public school at Newbold High School, he retired from Century furniture Company after forty plus years.
Funeral service is Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm in White’s Family Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service
There will be a public walk through on Saturday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
