Celebration of Life Services for Mr. William Henry Tate, of Conley, GA., will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at The Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary. Reverend Dr. J. McDonald, Officiating, Eulogist. Mr. Tate leaves to cherish his loving memory, devoted wife, Deckrise E. Harris-Tate; 3 children, Valeda Ann Tate, of Conyers, GA., Christopher O’Neal Tate, of Decatur, GA., and Demetrius Hendrix Tate, of McDonough, GA.; his daughters in-law, Janelle Baranco (Chris), of Clayton, LA., Shemekia Tate (Demetrius), of Hampton, GA.; 8 grandchildren, Phoenix, Kylon, Makenna, Megan, Makailyn, Sarah, Paris, and Christopher, Jr.; 4 brothers, 1 brother in-law, and 4 sisters in-law, survive him in death, Joe B. & Evelyn Tate, of Orlando, FL., Lera & Donna Tate, of Stone Mountain, GA., James Ira & Elizabeth Tate, of Elberton, GA., Mitchell Earl Tate, of Elberton, GA., and Leonard Blackwell, of Decatur, GA.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and close friends. Mr.Tate was one of my closest friends we live across the street from each other so I would visit him on a regular basis almost every day. He was a joy and inspiration to be around.
