Ms. Shields leaves to cherish her memories, mother, Mildred Shields; sister, Phylis Shields; nephews, Carmen Holmes; Javari Shields, Sr., Xavier Holmes; great nephew, Javari Shields, Jr.; great nieces, Khya Holmes, Khyla Holmes; and a host of cousins, other relatives, extended family, and dear friends.
