Obituary For Thomas Wayne Murphy

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Thomas Wayne Murphy, of Decatur, will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Stronghold Christian Church, 724 Rock Chapel Rd., Lithonia, GA., with remains placed in repose at 10:00 A.M. Reverend Benjamin Gaither, Pastor, Officiating. Interment will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. A Public Viewing and Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023, 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.

Mr. Murphy leaves to cherish his memories, children, Stephanie Armstrong (Robert), Tremaye Dixon, Tonishia Brown, Aissa Ware, Jarvis Perry; siblings, Kenny Murphy, Jerry Murphy, Myra Murphy, Cora Murphy-Peavy (MiMi); godmother, Mrs. Doris Fuller; 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives, extended family, and close friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Friday, at 10:00 A.M.
