Obituary For Norman H. Ross, Sr.

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Norman H. Ross, Sr., of Atlanta, GA., will be held Friday, November 17, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Cascade Unied Methodist Church Midtown, 458 Ponce de Leon Avenue, Atlanta, GA., with his remains placed in repose at 9:30 A.M. Reverend Dr. Kevin Murriel, Pastor, Reverend Dr. Rodney K. Turner, Eulogist. Public Viewing and Visitation will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 6:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at the mortuary.

Mr. Ross leaves to cherish his wonderful memories, loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Peggy Wyatt Ross; son, Norman H. Ross, Jr. (Chelsea); granddaughter, Campbell Madison Ross; grandson, Norman H. Ross, III; 3 siblings, sister, Patricia Ross, brothers, Kevin Ross (Gornata), Kendall Ross; as well as a host of other loving relatives, extended family, Donald Trimble Mortuary family, and close friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at Cascade U.M.C., 3144 Cascade Rd., Friday, at 9:30 A.M.

He was an extraordinary individual who touched the lives of everyone he met with his kindness, and generosity. His presence filled any room with warmth and joy, and his absence will leave a void in our lives. Norms advice was instrumental in helping to figure out life's more difficult dimensions, our family has personally benefited from this wise man. Dear Peggy,Lil Norm and Family. A feeling of sadness lingers with the thought of my Brother Norm's transition. I'm reminded of how we met at Hampton University, where he gave me the Nick name "Tic" LOL; Norm became an unwavering pillar and voice of reason in my life from that very day. Norman hired me when I worked at Local 218. He was my manager. He was always fair and wanted all of us to succeed. I purchased my home and graduated from GSU during my 22 years at the Local. I have nothing but good memories of Norman. Rest in Peace, you did good. Carolyn Hughes
