Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Gerry Dennis Poindexter, Jr., of Lithonia, GA., will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, 1625 Joseph E. Boone Boulevard, NW Atlanta, Georgia 30314. Reverend Dr. Susan H. Buckson, Pastor and Elder Terrance Maeberry, Officiating, Eulogist. Interment, Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Decatur, GA.

Gerry, Jr., leaves to cherish his loving memories, wonderful wife, J'Ceal Poindexter; 3 beautiful daughters, Jornee Poindexter, Shalyse Albury, Danorria Albury; his loving mother, June Poindexter; father, Mr. Gerry D. Poindexter, Sr.; and his sister, Brooke Poindexter; as well as a host of other loving relatives, extended family, and close friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the mortuary Saturday, at 10:30 A.M.

Booty I miss you on a daily basic this so called like without you is driving me crazy I'm literally sick to my stomach everyday I hate the way things are but I know you got me and your girls your legacy will forever live on long as I'm breathing until we meet again your wife your everything !!!??

Well, In 8 days it will be you're birthday and in 9 days will be the day you was called home. I miss you Jr...you was my world. I am still pretty bad but I keep pushing for you and you're niece and nephews...we have talked about you laughed cried and honored you. I will always be you're biggest fan...I miss you and Love you! Sleep in peace until we meet again.

i miss you very much daddy i hope you know that its been 81 days with out you and i just miss the songs the sound of your car i miss the times we had i wish we had but your in a better place now you will be miss . your lovely daugter danorria :)
