Services for Mr. Joe Willie Johnson, of Atlanta, GA., will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2022, 2:30 P.M. at The Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary. The Reverend Dr. William E. Flippin, Sr., Senior Pastor of The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church, Officiating, Eulogist. Deacon Joe Johnson was a faithful member of The Greater Piney Grove Baptist church since he was 9 years old.
Public Viewing will be held Friday, March 4, 2022, 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
Mr. Joe Johnson leaves behind the following to cherish his memory, his devoted wife of 44 years, Ethel Johnson; children, Daphanie Johnson, Joey Johnson, Otis Parrish, Jr. (aka Bobby), Ronnie Parrish (Sherry), and Erica Ellerbe (Shelton); 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ann Jones, Bobbie Bentley; brothers, Marvin Johnson (Leila), Anthony Lester; and a host of special nephews, nieces, other family and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the mortuary Saturday, at 2:00 P.M.
