Sleep in peace my dear friend and college classmate. Gerald Mackey
Gwen was a beautiful person who was always very kind, considerate and caring. A quiet spirit who's wisdom, insightfulness and respect helped many of us navigate the challenges we faced as Claflin students. Gwen will forever live in the hearts of all who had the honor to know her in this life. God bless, love and keep her family always.
Prayer for the family 🙏🏾
Oh man, I'm floored by this news! I met Gwen in the fifth grade in Orangeburg, SC. There were only 13 of us in the class so we were all close! Gwen was the smallest in the class, so she had to be the toughest. She was successful because she led with her heart and everyone respected her and loved her! God is going to reward her now with the rest she deserves! To her family and friends, I offer my heartfelt condolences.
Gwen and I attended Claflin University together. She was a good friend who loved life and she always treated everyone with respect. We are sending our prayers, condolences, and love to the Gibbs' family. Gwen has gone home to be with God in Heaven. Mitchell Glover
