Homegoing Services for Mr. Gerard Gary Manns, of Decatur, Georgia, will be held Monday, October 14, 2024, 6:00 P.M. at The Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary. Minister Danny Gardner, Eulogist, Minister Aaron Knox, Officiant.
Gerard was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ricki Gale Thompson; his uncle, Oliver Brown Jr.; his grandfather, Oliver Brown, Sr.; and his grandmother, Hazel Brown. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of his surviving family: his former wife, Nicole Manns; his three children, AJ, Gerard Christian, and Maya Manns; his twin nieces, Ariel and Brooklyn Romero; his nephew, Chase Pickett; his devoted sister, Nickhol Nikkia Thompson; his niece, Indyah Earls; his nephew, Imre Earls; his great-niece, Nalani; his Auntie, Toni Jefferson; cousin Akilah (Theodore) and their son, Gavin; his Uncle Cedric Brown (Tamika) and cousins Quanta Speight, Savannah, and Matthew Brown; his Uncle Lance Brown and cousins Taylor, Lance Jr., and Tristan Brown. He is also mourned by his best friends, Eric, Colby, Kajuan, Aundel, Dmoe (Darrious), Elliot, and David, along with a host of relatives and friends who will forever remember his warmth and kindness. Gerard's generous spirit, vibrant personality, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
