Mrs. Winnie Martin Tullis, Wadley, GA, departed this life, Monday, July 13, 2020 at her residence. Graveside Services will be held Monday, July 20, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Dixon Chapel Cemetery, Louisville, GA. with mask and social distancing. Viewing will be held Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home. Mrs. Tullis was a native of Wadley, Georgia, born to the parentage of the late Rev. Samuel Martin and Gussie Mae Salter Martin. She attended Jefferson County School System. Mrs. Tullis was a Healthcare Nurse employed by Lawnwood Regional Medicare Center. And a member of the Ways Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Benjamin Tullis and her son, Anthony Martin. Survivors include her siblings; Rev. Freddie (Cheryl) Martin, Wadley, GA, and John (Linda) Martin, Brooklyn, NY; Rev. Louise Passmore, Wadley, GA, Ora Lee Morgan, Louisville, GA, and Frances (Rev. Thomas) Berry, Wrens, GA; four Grandchildren; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street is in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Winnie Martin Tullis.
