Wilmer Wilcher, Sr. departed this life on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born to the parentage of the late Hattie Wilcher.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Brinson Hill Baptist Church in Wadley, Georgia with the Reverend Dr. David Kemp officiating.
Wilmer was a faithful member of Brinson Hill Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. After 27 years of service, he retired as a Drill Press Operator from Thermo King in 1994. Wilmer was a man who enjoyed life to the fullest.
He is preceded in death by his mother, his wife, Nellie Latimore Wilcher and one son, Patrick Wilcher.
He leaves to cherish his fun loving memories his sons; Leon Wilcher, Hepzibah, GA, Donald Harris of Wadley, GA, Wilmer Wilcher, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC and Marcus Wilcher of Jersey City, NJ; daughters, Sharon Wilcher of Hepzibah, Georgia and Sarah Wilcher of Jersey City, NJ; His stepchildren, Bobbie Nell Harris, Wadley, GA and Eugene Harris of Hepzibah, GA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
