Kennedy, during your short time on this earth, you showed us all the power of love, forgiveness, and strength. Rest among the stars, our angel, and may your light forever illuminate the night sky.

Kennedy was born to Lithia Thompson-Brown (Johnnie) and Darrel Pauldo on July 18, 1999, full of life, light, and laughter. She was destined to make a difference in the lives of others, and in her brief journey from Time to Eternity, she did just that. She was open, honest, and outspoken, whom everyone wanted to be around. Her ingratiating and engaging spirit endeared her to many.

Kennedy grew up in a loving home on “The Hillside” in Louisville, Ga. She was a pillar in the home of her grandparents, Joe and Willie Mae Thompson. She made many friends as to know her was to love her. Kennedy was a member of Hardeman Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, where she was an active member in the Youth Choir.

Kennedy’s dream was to be an Elementary School Teacher. In 2017, she graduated from Jefferson County High School and Oconee Fall Line Technical College. Earning her high school diploma and a Certificate in Early Childhood, as a Dual Enrollment student. After graduation, Kennedy begin working at the Jefferson County Board of Elections as a Seasonal Elections Clerk Assistant. Little did she know that it would be a job that she would later “learn to love”. In 2020, she earned her Associate of Arts Degree in Elementary Education at East Georgia State College. Because of her love for kids, Kennedy gained employment at the Wilson YMCA as a Summer Camp Counselor, which later led her to the position of the “Play and Learn” Assistant Director at the North Jefferson Family Y.

God gave hope and Kennedy a future on earth and in heaven. We thank God for giving Kennedy 24 years of BLESSINGS on earth. Our tears drop slowly and steadily; the pain is so real and true; Death claimed another angel, and Kennedy, that angel was you! To us you were beautiful and extraordinary…now stretch your wings and fly. Kennedy, you were loved by so many, and for us, it will never be “goodbye”.

A place has been made vacant in the hearts and lives of her adoring and caring grandparents, who loved Kennedy beyond measure, Joe Jr. and Willie Mae Thompson of Louisville, GA and Phillip Schofield of Miami, FL. Kennedy will always be loved and celebrated by her “great aunt and uncle” Bessie and Gene Boyd of Louisville, GA. Kennedy was special to all her family. She grew up as Ken Ken to her close family and friends. Left to reminisce and reflect on the life of her “little sister” is Darrielle Pauldo.

Kennedy was the light of so many lives. None more so than her uncles and aunts: Hillary Thompson, Thomson, GA; Derrick (Gina), Boynton Beach, FL; Doug, Macon, GA; Venus, Savannah, GA; Reginald, Macon, GA; Brett, Macon, GA; Nikki, Arlington, VA; Tonya, Macon, GA; Shay (Crissy), Columbus, GA; Rico, Newnan, GA; Wendy, Fairburn, GA

Kennedy loved so many. There was her nephew Dayveon and her god mother, Lisa. Kennedy’s untimely passing left broken hearts and voids in the lives of her many great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and other relatives. She had a cadre of specials friends who will never forget the love and legacy of Ms. Kennedy (Thompson) Pauldo.

Kennedy, may you forever be embraced by the love and light of your grandparent Shirley Hatcher, great-grandparents, Jutson Sr. and Dora Lee Dogan and Joe Sr. and Mamie Lee (Davis) Thompson, who went before you.

Celebration on Life will be held Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hardeman Springfield Baptist Church, 5116 Belmont Road, Louisville, GA.

Interment will be held at the New Hope A.M.E. Church Cemetery, 11960 Highway 171 N. Louisville, GA.

Public viewing will be held Wednesday, September 27. 2023 from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M.
