Ms. Annie Doris Morgan was born in Bartow, GA to the loving parentage of Mitchell Morgan Sr and Ella Mae Wallace Morgan. She grew up in Louisville, GA.
“Dot” as she was lovingly known by many made her transition on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
She joins her parents and several siblings: Willie James Jackson, James Fluddy Morgan, Betty Morgan and Carrie E. Dunlap.
To know her was to know the soft-spoken, prim and proper lady that she was. Taking care of her flowers was one of her favorite pastimes.
She was a 1969 graduate of Jefferson County High and later worked for many years at St. Eve’s Lingerie Apparel.
Public viewing will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the James and Virginia Davis Chapel, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA. Interment will be held in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Bartow, GA
She leaves to embrace the precious memories, her children: Zedrick Zelinski Morgan, Arkansas, Arpiefiny Na’Precious Morgan, Liburn, GA and La’Shanta Sonwayetta (James) Barrow, Keysville, GA; her siblings: Mitchell Morgan, Jr., Forest Park, GA, Lillie Ruth (Charles) Moore and Louvenia Sims, Fayetteville, GA, Mary Delaine Morgan, Louisville, GA and Linda Denise Dennis, College Park, GA; her grandchildren: Dontae Morgan, Trent Atkinson, Cameron Atkinson and Samira Gilmore; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
