Angela Marie (Daniel) Woods was born in Rochester, New York at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held Saturday May 8, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Limestone Baptist Church, Bartow, GA with Military Honors. Public viewing will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 At a young age she accepted Christ at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Rochester, New York. In 1988, she graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School.
She went on to attend Monroe Community College before deciding to enter the military.
On March 18, 1991, Angela began service in the United States Navy. During her term she earned the National Defense Service medal, Southwest Asia service medal, and the Sea service deployment medal. She served in Operation Desert Storm. While enlisted Angela toured several countries (Phillipines, Singapore & Middle East). She was later stationed in San Diego, California when she met Quillian Gunn.
Angela and Quillian united in matrimony in June 1993. To this union two sons were born. Julian Addrell Gunn & Jarrod Addrell Gunn.
In August 2008, Angela & Press Woods joined in marriage. To their union was born 1 son, Gabriel Messiah Woods.
Angela was very gifted. She was blessed with many talents. She had a true entrepreneurial spirit. She never met a stranger. She had a smile that lit up a room. Her laughter & jovial spirit. She delighted in spreading the gospel. She will truly be missed. She leaves to cherish her loving memory 3 sons, Julian Addrell Gunn of Atlanta, Georgia, Jarrod Addrell Gunn of Tallahassee, Florida and Gabriel Messiah Woods of Melborune, Florida; her parents, Maggie M. Daniel of Melbourne, Florida; Edward Dunn of Macon, Georgia; 3 brothers, Eric Daniel of Rochester, New York, Michael Prather of Jacksonville, Florida and Derrick Dunn of Sandersville, Georgia, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives & friends.

Angie you will be missed. I first met angie at Fort Hamilton. She was a very happy person full of joy. I use to make fun of her because when she entered a room her voice over took you. She would just laugh when I would make that comment. Take your sleep see you in the morning

I first met Angie when we both lived on Fort Hamilton in Bay Ridge, NY back in 1995. We became instant friends; our children played together (Julian and Deja). I remember our trips to Rainbow to grab some hot gear! She was a beautiful women and she will be missed. I wish we could have been in closer touch over the years. My deepest condolences to her children and family. Rest in Heaven sweet Angie!
