Mr. Richard Allen Goode, 71, of Gastonia, North Carolina was born March 3, 1951 in Cleveland County, North Carolina and departed this life on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, North Carolina.

PLACE: Tabernacle Baptist Church, 519 West 19th Avenue, Gastonia, NC 28052
DATE & TIME: Friday, February 17, 2023 @ 1:00 P.M.
VISITATION: At the church on Friday thirty minutes prior to service from 12:30 until 1:00 P.M.
BURIAL: Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, 1621 County Line Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086
Public Viewing at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M.

This broke my heart! To his sons Bambam & Toshay I don't know if you remember me but your Dad used to date my Mom and he would to come and take me, my brothers & cousins everywhere, to amusement parks, zoos, anywhere we wanted to go. I remember us spending a lot of Sundays together as kids. He was always the big teddy bear to me because he always gave me anything I wanted no matter what my mom said. Lol! Richard will forever be missed! I pray you both can rest knowing he was a good father and friend to many. I'll continue to keep your families in prayer and it is my hope that we all see each other again soon!
