Kenneth Bryon Holland, 62, was born April 28, 1953 in Gastonia, North Carolina to Doris Saunders Holland and the late John Kenneth Holland and transitioned peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, North Carolina surrounded by his loving family. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Elmer Holland and Mr. & Mrs. James Luico Saunders.
He is survived by his mother, Doris S. Holland of the home; sister, Vicki Holland Kendrick (Gregory) of Gastonia, N.C.; brother, Luico Maurice 'Butch' Holland (Linda) of Gastonia, N.C.; aunts, Brenda Saunders Brown (Conard) of Gastonia, N.C., Garnell Williams Saunders of Gastonia, N.C.; uncles, James E. Saunders (Julia) of Charlotte, N.C., Carroll B. Saunders, Alfred 'Pete' Saunders and Lyntallus Holland all of Gastonia, N.C., Howard Erwin of Silver Spring, MD; his dog, 'Bo'; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
