Joy!! Aunt Grace was my angel!!! Life will continue to grow and shine in her name!! Love tex
To Joylette, Keith & Family! There are absolutely "NO" words to adequately convey my heartfelt condolence! This is undoubtedly the most difficult task you've had to tackle! My prayer is, you'll find comfort in knowing your Mom's life and "Rich Legacy" has positively impacted soooo many lives, young, old, saved, unsaved, rich, poor, educated, uneducated; Grace Hilliard NEVER allowed one's condition in life to dictate her level of caring, inspiring & loving them. Personally, I'll forever remember her "infectious smile; her ability to get your undivided attention when she addressed you by calling your first and last name;her undying love for God and teaching HIS Word; just her overall nurturing, loving & caring nature with so much practical WISDOM. Grace Hilliard was my "true friend!" Knowing her well, I can imagine her saying to ALl of us,on December 26, 2023, "Today, I've completed my earthly assignment, Ya'll! I can also hear her recite this scripture from the tablets of her heart;"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to His appearing." I will always love & remember her as my Tarboro neighbor, my true and proven "friend" for 30 plus years. RIP my Sister! Mary Hagans-Maxwell

Mrs. Hilliard so many years ago we became friends, you were that joy and peace that I encounter at Princeville Elementary School. We could talk about everything, I remember one day you said, Bobbie Allen your day is coming when your boys will grow up and the things you desire will be yours. So many encouraging words came from you, down through the years you were there encouraging me with phone calls, prayers and love, Going to missed you, my friend. God has picked a very special flower, gone from our sight but not our hearts. Love from Bobbie, kenyon, Richard and kenrick Allen
