Rosa Lee Wright was born on September 22, 1943, to Bennie Wright and Carrie Hankins Wright in St. Augustine, Florida. She was the eleventh child born to this union. She attended school in St. John County Public Schools. She was of Baptist Faith. She was in a common law union with Earl Lee Hicks. She loved to dance, listen to music, cook and watch western movies. As a young adult she worked in the fields in Florida. She also labored as a housekeeper. Rosa was dedicated to raising her children. She loved the lord and often quoted him daily. In her later years she relocated to Winter Haven Florida to resided there with her son (Joseph B Robinson) and family unto God called her home. In an addition to her parents, Rosa Lee Wright was preceded in death by Earl Lee Hicks, and Daughter-Judy Davis (Calvin) Sisters- Margaret Wright-Williams, Lue Wright Davis, Carrie Wright-Caywood, Annie Mae Wright and Edith Elizabeth Wright Green. Brothers-Gibson Wright Sr, Bennie Wright Jr., Charlie Wright, James Willie Wright, and Jasper Wright. She Leaves to cherish her memories: James Lee Hicks (Jackie) Mike, Amanda, and Connor, Lisa M Walthour (Robert) Robert Walthour 3rd. and Joseph B Robinson (Sharon) Kayla, Joseph Jr., Jotaysha, Cortez and a Host of bonus grandchildren. 9 Great grandchildren and a host of bonus great-grandchildren. Countless Nieces, Nephews, and loving family.
The Homegoing Services will be 10:00a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025 in The Felix’s Coleman Memorial Chapel.
