Latara Thomas was born on March 28, 1967, in Tallahassee, Florida. Ms. Tara was a committed employee at Wendy’s Restaurant. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren who called her Nana. She was a faithful member of Beacon Light of Praise Ministries where she accepted Christ in her life. Treasuring her love and legacy are her children, Andra Williams, Monique Williams (Johnny), Devonsheia Carter (God-daughter), five grand-children, Jai’Rel Bazell, Jai’Sean Bazell, Andra Williams III, Andria Williams, Jon’Teria Daniels Also left to treasure her beautiful memories is her lifelong companion of 27 years, Johnny Daniels, Sr., Her parents, Johnnie Thomas and Joann Brown, her brothers, Carlos Brown and Andre’ Jenkins, her sisters, Lady LaDonna Wright (Elder Ervin Wright), Lady Sonya Brown (Elder LerRoy Brown), and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends and the community 5-6 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2025, at Tabernacle MB Church, 280 Duval ST, St. Augustine, Florida.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Tabernacle MB Church
Interment will be held in Evergreen Cemetery

It is with humbleness that I express my sincere condolences to the family of Latara Thomas whom i had the pleasure of working with for many years at Wendys Restaurant. Latara was that employee you can count on no matter what. She enjoyed her job and kept the environment a happy place to work in. With much respect and love, I will lift the entire family in prayer to the LORD. A beautiful Soul has transitioned to her resting place. She left a legacy of Love for her family.
