Eula Mae Leach, daughter of the late James Leslie Boykin, Sr. and Mary T. Boykin was born on February 10, 1953 in St. Augustine, Florida. Eula graduated from Murray High School in 1971. She was apart of the affiliation of classes 69, 70, 71 & 72 of Murray High School. Eula served under the late Elder Eugene Israel for many years. She later became a member of Hopewell Church under the leadership of Dr. Gary Williams. Eula had a passion for taking care of others, which lead her in a career as a CNA. She was employed with St. Catherine’s in Jacksonville for 15 years. She later became employed with Flagler Hospital where she retired from in 2011. Eula loved her family and friends dearly. she was the light to family gatherings. she was well known for being the first one on the dance floor. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
Eula leaves to cherish her memories: daughters, Unique (Kenyana) Daniels Sr., St. Augustine; Danielle Leach, New York; grandchildren, Makayla Daniels, Elijah Daniels, James Boykin, Jazmine Daniels all of St. Augustine; sister, Mary Lou Boykin, brother Roger Boykin, childhood friend, Laura Fisher, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The Leach family will receive friends and the community from 5-6 p.m. Friday, June 2, at Zion Baptist Church,94 Evergreen Ave, St. Augustine. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday June 3, 2023, at Zion Baptist Church.
