Eugene Garth Williams, Sr., 83, of Titusville, FL was born to Samuel and Carris Mae in Dupont, FL. He attended the Public Schools and graduated from Carver High School in Bunnell, FL. Upon graduating from High School, Eugene attended Bethune Cookman College where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education. Eugene was a steel worker, raced at Daytona Speedway (now Daytona International Speedway), worked at McDonald Douglas Aeronautics (missile guidance system) employed at Kennedy space center for over 40 years before his retirement.
In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his oldest son, Warnelll “Teddy” and his grandson Antwaun Williams.
He leaves his cherished memories to: 8 sons, Eugene Jr., of Bunnell, FL, Joes of Palm Bay, FL, Ricky (Angela) of Ormond Beach, FL, Raymond (Pam), Columbia, SC, Wayne (Ursla), Steven, Sheperal Williams, John Dinkins all of Titusville, FL; daughters, Gwendolyn Owens, Jacksonville, FL, Lorraine (Sherman) Richards, Carolyn (Stacy) Beckton, Jacqueline Williams-Smalls all of Daytona Beach FL, Cynthia Smith, Vicki Huang(Earnie) of Palm Coast FL, Gwendolyn Jacobs, Katina Williams of Titusville, Fl; 2 stepsons, Chris Lincoln, Jason Miller of Titusville, FL; 4 sisters, Ethael Mae, Renee Williams, Rudene Thomas, Rozell Swain all of Jacksonville, FL; 4 brothers, Warnell, Curtis, David (Pisilla) of Bunnell, FL, James (Ella) of Hillside, NJ; 48 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
The Williams Family will receive extended family and friends from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2020 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Frank Giddens, Sr., Pastor. The Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 in Masonic Cemetery, Palm Coast, FL.
