Obituary For Carolyn L Snead

Mrs. Carolyn L. Snead was born on June 25, 1926, in Macon, Georgia to John and Gussie Johnson. She was a graduate of Ballard High School class of 1945. She was a professional seamstress and a retired Certified Nursing Assistant with Flagler Hospital. She worked in local nursing homes and executed housecleaning throughout her life. She was an outstanding mother of eight children. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snead was preceded in eternal rest by her children, Pauletta Jenkins, Alexzene Bryson, Alexzander Snead Jr., Brenda Jones, Osmund Snead, Donetha Snead, sisters, Beatrice, Odessa, Theresa and Celestine. She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Sandray (Tony) Washington, Stacey A. (Walter) Felder both of St. Augustine, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The Snead family will receive friends and the community 5-6 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2023, at New St. James Missionary Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2023, at New St. James MB Church. Interment will be held in Evergreen Cemetery.
