Obituary For Frances Mae Cauthen

Frances Mae Cauthen was born February 12, 1942 in Kershaw County to the late Mr. Rayford Johnson and Lola Kirkland. She entered eternal rest on October22, 2022.

At an early age she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Mount Zion Baptist Church of Kershaw where she served on several auxiliaries in which she enjoyed until her health declined. She also worked many years at Springs Industries and retired from USCL.

She was married to Mr. Joe Louis Cauthen for over 58 Years and to this union five children were born Henry Cauthen, Ray Cauthen, Maurice Cauthen, Steven Jones, and Louis Cauthen.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories four grandchildren, Steven Jones (Daune), Brianna Southern, Kendrick Cauthen, and Kamarion Harris. Four great grand children. Five sisters, Susan Brown of Kershaw S.C, Sylvia Drakeford (Pete) of Kershaw, S.C, Angela Patterson(Larry) of Lancaster S.C, Dianne Miller of Kershaw, S.C and Annie Kelly of Kershaw, S.C. Two brothers, Johnny Patterson (Cassandra) of Augusta, GA, and Curtis Patterson (Yvette) of West Haven CT. Two sisters in law, Ella Battie of Philadelphia, P.A and Haddie Patterson of Westville S.C. Also left to cherish memories is a host of nieces, nephews and friends

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert L. Patterson and J.C Patterson
