A Celebration of Life Service for Ms. RayNisha Lynn Brazill will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Cedric D. Clark Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 from 6:00-7:00 P.M. Ms. Brazill, 42 of Meridian, transitioned into eternal rest Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
Raynisha Lynn Brazill, a shining star and a beacon of light, made her grand entrance into the world on July 10, 1982 in Sun Valley, California. She was the last of five children born to the late Margaret Ann Yarbrough Grace and the second child born to the late Raymond Brazill.
At a young age, Nisha relocated to Kemper County, Mississippi with her mother. Shortly after, she moved to Meridian and enrolled in the Meridian Public School District. While in high school, she suffered a heartbreaking blow in her life with the passing of her mother. Nisha promised her mother that she would complete school and make her proud, and that’s exactly what she did. In May 2002, Nisha received her high school diploma from Meridian High School.
In her young adulthood, Nisha returned to California. In 2015, she relocated to Texas with her father and aunt. After spending a few years there, she returned to Meridian.
Nisha worked in customer service at Cefco before her health declined. For many years, she coped with the pains of numerous illnesses, but through it all, she remained strong in her faith that God would put no more on her than she could bear.
On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at the age of 42 years old, Raynisha transitioned into eternity. While we mourn the loss of our dear Nisha, we find comfort in the beautiful memories that we shared with her and the lasting impact she made on our lives. Her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ann and Eugene Yarbrough, and her paternal grandparents, Monroe Brazill, Jr., and Ruby Brazill.
She leaves a lifetime of memories to be cherished by two brothers, Rodney Yarbrough and Cortney Yarbrough; three sisters, Latricia Houston, Tonya Harris and Erryn Monique Williams; two aunts, Joann Jenkins and Emily Hearn; and two uncles, Monroe Brazill, Jr., and James Rushing. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will forever miss her.
