The Life and Legacy of Ernestine Wilcher Jackson was born to the late Mr. Willie Wilcher and the late Mrs. Amy Brown Wilcher on February 27, 1944. During her early years her family resided in Wrightsville, Georgia; where she formally completed her public school education. On Saturday, January 30, 2021, Ernestine Wilcher Jackson was granted rest from labor to await the return of her savior. Those who will love Ernestine eternally and cherish her precious memories are her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Deacon Charles Jackson. One daughter Sheryl D. Wright (Wrightsville, Georgia). Two sons, Clarence Jackson (who proceeded her death), and Rev. Andrew C. Jackson (West Palm Beach, FL). One daughter in law, Katrina Wilcher-Jackson. Three brothers, Mr. Hodges Wilcher, Mr. Ben Wilcher, and Arthur Brown (Wrightsville, Georgia). Two sisters, Ms. Christine Wilcher and Lillie Wilcher (Wrightsville, Georgia). One Aunt, Ms. Gladys Brown (Ft. Pierce, FL). Eight loving grandchildren: Andrew C. Jackson II, Sakerial Wright, Latonya Jackson-Freeman (David), Moziah Jackson, Damon Wright (proceeded her in death), Bryan Jackson, Rev. Kareem Jackson, and Tyrik Jackson. Four loving Great Grands: Xavier Wright, Destinee Dixon, Dakota Wright, and Bry’Leigh Jackson.
Four Loving God-Children; Tracy Best, Richara Simmons, Janice Mann-Holmes and DeAsia Bythwood. A very dear friend Eva Mcintosh. A host of loving cousins, nephews, nieces, in addition to other innumerable sorrowing relatives, loved ones, friends, the entire Christian Community, and the church family of the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Fellow family members who proceeded her in death; Four brothers, Herman Wilcher, Glenn Wilcher, Willie Wilcher, and Sherman Wilcher. One sister, Shirley J. Wilcher.
You will be missed Auntie, I'll never forget you and your pretty smile save me a spot in Heaven kiss my grandma for me. Love You Always I'll always be your CoCo-Resha
