Anthony E.J. "MOKALEE Balkcom

Your Momma was my best friend and I knew her before she had any of y'all kids. I remember when she was pregnant with you, we were both pregnant at the same time and I remember when you were born. I wanted to name my son Eric and your uncle Tony wanted him named Anthony, after him. So Tony told your mom to name you Eric and I told her to name you Anthony. I thought she named you only Eric and I named my son, your cousin, Anthony Lee Balkcom and that is how we ended up with two Anthony Balkcom's. Your Aunties and I were all in the same house with all these kids and so I remember watching all y'all kids, I remember feeding y'all, bathing y'all, changing and just taking care of y'all, playing with y'all and watching y'all grow up. Later on I remember how you, Myron, AJ and Bigred would practice them little dance moves and were just a singing all in the front yard of Uncle Jerry's house. I remember y'all being Ninja Turtles, having birthday parties, I remember the school calling cause a "Anthony" was in trouble but we didn't know which one. I remember holding you, Kita and Sam and comforting y'all when your Momma passed. I remember so much about you and I want you to know that it was a pleasure to be your Auntie and I cherish each and every memory I have of you. Even tho we hadn't seen each other in a long time, know that I always thought of you as a part of my family and know that you're loved and will be greatly missed. You was a great cousin always had a big smile on your face.... We didn't spend much time together but the times we did it was full of nothing but memories that i will always cherish.... Its not a good bye its a see you again on the other side my big cousin....
