"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8 KJV Brother Zebedee Moore proved himself to be a man of great courage and determination promoting the cause of Christ. This is bro. James Collier. I've known Bro. Moore ever since as a child back at the old West Adair building. He has always been my preacher even almost my mentor and a father. I can recall as a child being bad running around the church jumping the shrubbery and Beo.and Sis.Moore grabbed me. I got a little pop on my back side and they said tell your mom. Another was in the building and Bro. Moore grabbed me and said don't play in God's house. After that I started listening to his sermons, getting into his training class. So between several ministers on the old path along with Bro. Moore, start me in the ministry. Bro. Moore has touch and inspired and mentor many young men and women in the ministry and in life. Oh lest I forget...he use to always give me the nickname...sport.lol.After leaving and setting up the work as the minister in Lumpkin COC..I came back to valdosta and help the work at west Hill. My prayer are forever with and for the family. Take your rest Bro. Moore, you have fought on this battlefield. Go on and get your crown of life. I will miss you. Thank you and Sis. Moore for placing me on the right track and mentoring me in the gospe l. I will forever remember your words.. stay on the right path and don't mess up God's house.
I've known Zeb. Ever since the 9th grade at Pinevale High School Valdosta, GA. back in 1958. We both played football for the Pinevale High Fighting Tigers, and were members of the 1961 graduating class. Rest in peace Zeb. You will be remembered in the hearts of so many. Freddie L Sirmans Sr.
