Obituary For Kenneth Lamar Davis

Kenneth Lamar Davis, affectionately known as “Bo,” was born on September 15, 1970, in Brooks County, Georgia, to Daniel and Geneva Davis. On March 16, 2025, he transitioned from this life, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.

Bo was a man who deeply loved his family and friends. His warm spirit and kind heart made a lasting impact on those who knew him. He found joy in his work and was employed at Langboard, Inc. and WGOV Magic 95 Radio Station. Known to many as DJ Kenny D, his passion for music was undeniable. He had a natural talent for bringing people together through music and was widely recognized as a great DJ. In addition to his love for music, Bo enjoyed grilling and was always ready to share a good meal with those he loved.

Bo was preceded in death by Bishop Chappell, Catherine Chappell, Cillia Davis, and Brad Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memory four beloved children: Kersnie Fountain of Jacksonville, FL; Kenneth Godfrey of Des Moines, IA; Trellini Davis of Valdosta, GA; and Christopher Albertson of Quitman, GA. He was also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren.

Bo’s loving parents, Geneva and Daniel Davis, survive him, along with his devoted siblings: Patricia (Lonnie) King of Albany, GA; James Robert (Veronica) Chappell of Quitman, GA; Rhonda Davis of Valdosta, GA; Beverly (Charles) Smith of Quitman, GA; Alphonso (Dot) Davis of Quitman, GA; Shirley Davis of Quitman, GA; Tina Davis of Quitman, GA; and Terrance Davis of Quitman, GA.

Celebration of Life Service for Kenneth “Bo” Davis will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM – BTW Funeral Services Chapel. Internment: North End Cemetery, Quitman, Georgia.
