About me!!! I, Kemi Priscilla Salawu entered this world on May 29, 1988. My birthplace is Miami Florida. I graduated from Valdosta High School in May 2006. I lived majority of my life with family in Valdosta Georgia, enjoying my life’s passions of dancing, music and singing alongside my family and friends. My departure from this life was July 9, 2023. I lived a blessed and full life.

I’m proceeded in Heaven by my beloved Grandfather Bishop James Hunter, International Mother Rosa Bell Hunter, Pastor Nathaniel Hunter, James W. Tomlin, ZarZar Clay.

Today I fly, for my wings are ready. As I put them on ready to fly, I leave this life after a long fight. A fight well fought, my time on earth may have been short but God knows what is best. My prayer for my mother Priscilla is a prayer of peace. You provided a life filled with love; you cared for me with unconditional love and strength. For that, I am forever grateful. To my father, Rotimi, may God continue to shine his love and light on you. Kelvin and Jaleel, my brothers, thank you for being the best brothers and my protectors. Ashley my sister thank you for you love and support. To my nieces, Kaylin and Kassidy and my nephew, Kelvin, I pray for a long life full of love. To my aunts: Aquilla, Esther, Ruth, Eunice, Elizabeth, Talitha, Mary, Naomi, Sarah, Abigail, Latisha and Oris, I love you all and thank you all for all for your enduring love and support. To my uncles: Morris, Clinton, Joesph, Elisha, Obadiah, Joshua, Timothy, Calvin, Steve, Craig, Wayne and Simon, I love you all and thank you all for everything. To my many cousins, which are far too many to name, may my life and our over shared memories provide you all with comfort and joy. Our timing is not Gods timing, and in this hour of my departure I leave feeling loved and loving. For now, I fly. Until next time.

Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Kemi Salawu will be held Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 12:00 PM at The Truth In Action Church, Valdosta, Georgia. Burial: Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Family Visitation: Saturday, July 15, 2023, 7:00 -8:00 PM at The Truth In Action Church, Valdosta, Georgia.
