Mr. Walter Ivory, age 72, of Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Maria Parham Health in Henderson, North Carolina.
Funeral service for Mr. Walter Ivory will be held Friday, December 2, 2022, at 1:00PM in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Service, 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton, North Carolina. Minister Aaron White will officiate, and the Reverend Don Stith will deliver the eulogy.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Walter Ivory Jr (Kim) of Rustburg, Virginia; his daughter, Kristy Ivory White (Aaron) of Wake Forest, North Carolina; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his brother, Carlton Townes, Sr (Carol) of Warrenton, North Carolina; his four sisters: Nancy Townes (Lassiter) of Durham, North Carolina; Lola Townes Johnson of Henderson, North Carolina; Christine Steverson (Rodney) of Warrenton, North Carolina; Shelia Townes of Warrenton, North Carolina; his uncle, Eddie Ivory of Baltimore, Maryland; his aunt, Pastor Mary T. Howard of Goldsboro, North Carolina; his Goddaughter, Anttraniece Elps and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends who loved him dearly.
He may be viewed on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 12noon- 5PM in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services.
