Mrs. Ruth Jones, age 100 of Warren County, NC transitioned into eternal life on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Granville Medical Center, Oxford, NC.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Service, 149 Holland Bland Rd Warrenton, NC. The Reverend Cindy P. Davis will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Ridgeway Baptist Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Martha Lovely (Chuck) Norlina NC, Bessie Vann, Henderson NC, Bernice Davis (James) Richmond VA, Edna Boyd Ridgeway NC, James Jones (Elnora) Nashville NC, Mary Somerville Ridgeway NC, Leon Jones (Bernice) Henderson NC, Emma Jones Ridgeway NC, Brenda Jones Wilmington NC, Doris Hargrove Henderson, NC, Carolyn King (George) Wake Forest, NC, Percell Jones (Gail) Ridgeway NC, Wendell Jones Ridgeway NC, one brother, Len Henderson, Warrenton, NC, and one sister, Naomi Terry of Philadelphia PA., 35 grandchildren: Sandra, Gwendolyn, Theresa, Linda, Freda, Orin, Aaron, Deborah, Vera, Kimberly, Carla, Frank Jr., Joyce, Patricia, Rosalyn, Krystal, JaNae, Angela, Christopher, Rachel, Jasmine, Emily, Adrian, Clifton, Theresa, Ricky, Randy, Charlene, Steven, Cara, Alyssa, Linwood, Antonio, Aliyah, Eddie, Theo, 44 great grandchildren, 17 great great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 10:00AM-12noon
Masks are required to enter the facility.

Aunt Ruth was such a sweet loving woman. She had many children of her own but she always made me and my Yancey siblings always feel at home and like you were one of her own. Thank you Aunt Ruth for being and meaning so much to all of us down through the years. Sleep in heavenly peace Sweet one!
