Mrs. Ruth Ann Green, age 78, of Rolesville, North Carolina formerly of Warren County, NC departed this life on January 17, 2021 at her residence.

Memorial Services will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 21, 2021 on the grounds of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina. Bishop Shelton Daniels, Pastor of Greater Joy Missionary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina will officiate services.

Ruth is survived by her devoted husband, Samuel, one son: Brian “Butler” Green; seven grandchildren, Darren and Justin Green of Rolesville, NC, Nyesha Green, Nyquanda Green, and Tymier Richardson all of Paterson, NJ, Romel Lee of South Carolina, and Kassia Green; five brothers: Charles, Stewart (Liz), Thomas (Ella), Robert (Jean), and Wayne Steverson (Betty); one sister, Iris Steverson Foster (Otis); four sisters-in-law, Esther Aiken of Richmond, VA, Bertha Wilson of Patterson, NJ, Alice Dunston (Robert) of Warrenton, NC, Janet Richardson of Charlotte, NC; two brothers-in-law, John Green and Walter Green both of Richmond, VA; three aunts: Dorothy Christmas Williams, Susie Christmas Davis, and Estelle Steverson Harden. In addition, a host of extraordinarily caring nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Especially: Gail Sledge, Lisa Hayes, Joyce Williams, Betty Perry, and Laverne Steverson.

There will be no public viewing for Mrs. Ruth Green.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral attendance will be limited to 50 guests or less. Safety measured will be enforced at the service with social distancing.
