Mrs. Vernice H. Wilson, age 69, of Henderson, North Carolina departed this life on Friday, August 05, 2022 at Maria Parham Health Henderson, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 2:00PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 7548 Drewry-Virginia Line Rd. Norlina, NC 27563. Reverend Mary Anderson will deliver the Eulogy and burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters, Pamela A. Perry (Frederick), Tamala A. Anderson (Shelton), Vanessa J. Ayscue, and Amy V. Ayscue, all of Henderson, North Carolina; her son, Charles L. Ayscue of Henderson, NC; her step children, William O’Neal Wilson, Jr., Elenore Wilson Hargrove, and Taleisha Wilson of Kinston, North Carolina; her sisters: Shirley Couch of Kittrell, North Carolina and Carolyn Hargrove (Philanderson) of Henderson, North Carolina; her brother, Albert Lee Harrison (Mary Jean) of Ahoskie, North Carolina and William Harrison, Jr. (Deborah) of Manson, North Carolina; Jimmie Ayscue of Warrenton, North Carolina, the father of her children; her sisters-in-law Carolyn Harrison of Centerville, North Carolina and Alice Harrison of Wise, North Carolina; her brothers-in-law James Harris of Hampton, Georgia and Anthony Ogletree of Kinston, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Kendrick, Damian, Kyana, Deja, Dominique, Danielle, Charles, Jr., Tymiq, Tyjaniq, Iyana, Marcellus, A’dante, Joshua, Ariana, Cory, Jr., Jamar, Tamar, Otha, and A’davion; her Godson Ricky; 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Vernice also leaves to cherish her memory a special friend, Mr. Willie T. Stringfellow and her life-long friends- Mrs. Clay T. Brown and Mrs. Josephine Dale.

Family Visitation: Tues-Thurs from 5PM-8PM at Vance Commons Community Building, 1000 W. Young Ave. Henderson, NC

Public Viewing: Friday, Aug. 12, 2022 from 12Noon-5PM Boyd & Royster Funeral Service 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton, NC.

Repast: Saturday, August 13, 2022 after Funeral Service. At Southern Charm Event Center, 200 S. Garnett St. Henderson, NC 4-8PM
