Mr. Glenn Alston, Sr. age 69, of Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Tuesday, April 11,2023, at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital.
A Celebration of life will be conducted on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 2:00p.m. in the sanctuary of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church ,904 Lickskillet Rd, Warrenton, N.C.27589. The Reverend John Gooch, Pastor will officiate and Reverend Carson F. Jones, Jr. will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow at the Richardson-Alston Cemetery.
Glenn leaves so many to cherish his precious memory: his daughter, Folami Summer Alston of Henderson, NC; his sister, Gloria Jean Alston of Raleigh, NC; his grandson, Ja’Cir Anthony Alston of Fayetteville, NC; his uncles Martin Richardson (Georgia) of Charlotte, NC and Calvin Richardson (Patsy) of Orlando, Fl.; his Godmother, Geraldine Nicholson of Norlina, NC; his Godson, Jordan Jackson of Warrenton, NC; his fiance' , Barbara Copeland of Warrenton, NC; their extended family, Sabrina, Howard, Jr. (Jennifer), Kemora (Kayleigh), Jacquiz, Gabriella, Isaiah and A'mora; the John Graham Graduating Class of 1971; his VGCC Colleagues; and a numerous host of close cousins, relatives and friends.
Mr. Alston may be viewed on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. The family will greet friends and relatives from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
