When that Glorious time has come, Don’t grieve for me or be sad, I just want you to remember, All the good times that we had I am kind of tired, and may be weak at heart But God still gives me strength Just like He did from the start.

Mrs. Lucy Mae Hedgepeth-Webb, age 86, of the Arcola community, Warrenton, NC departed this life on Monday, February 20, 2023, at UNC- Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, North Carolina. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2241 NC Highway 43, Warrenton, North Carolina. The Reverend Michael Richardson, Pastor will officiate and Reverend Kenneth Richardson, Sr., will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories; her loving and devoted children: Rosa Webb Macklin (George) of Warrenton, North Carolina, Avon Webb Hymes of Durham, North Carolina, Marvin L. Webb (Sherry) of Nashville, North Carolina, and Shelia A. Webb of Charlotte, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Rodney, Stephanie, Tiffany, Lucus, Evan, and Courtney; twelve great-grandchildren, Da’micah, LaNiah, Shaleah, Zi’keius, Za’Kiyah, Za’karri, Ja’Keil, Chole, Andrell, Levi, Ayania, and Melah; five sisters, Pearlene H. Pulley, Hazel H. Hines (Cufort), Pennie H. Currie, Jeanette H. McCullum (Robert) and Zelda H. Moore; one brother, Charles Hedgepeth (Barbara); one sister-in-law, Maxiene Hedgepath; one aunt, Catherine H. Richardson; one uncle, Jake Hedgepeth; one lifelong friend, Lithia L. Wilkins; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

There will be a walk-through viewing on Friday, February 24, 2023, in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services from 12:00PM until 6:00PM.
