Mr. Lawrence Edward Alston, age 77, of 934 NC Highway 43, Macon, NC departed this earthly life on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Maria Parham Health in Henderson, North Carolina. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 1:00pm from the Shiloh Baptist Church I the Arcola Community of Warrenton, North Carolina. The Reverend Michael Richardson, Pastor will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Alston leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Willie Watson of Warrenton, North Carolina Bettie Coppage of Winston Salem, North Carolina; one brother, Lee Floyd (Gwen) of Baltimore, Maryland; six step- children, Roy (Jennifer) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Brenda of Littleton, North Carolina, Gary (Diane) of Littleton, North Carolina, Wayne (Audrey) of Hollister, North Carolina, Haywood of the home, Chris (Stacey) of Warrenton, North Carolina; 18 step-grandchildren, 26 step great grandchildren; 1 step-great-great grandchild; ten sisters in law; two brothers in-law; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He may be viewed on Thursday, March 4,2021 from 12’noon until 5:00pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina
