I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.

I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.

I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,

Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

Ms. Geraldine Watson, age 84, of Owings Mill, Maryland formerly of the Inez Community of Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Saturday, March 1, 2025 in Maryland.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 12'noon in the sanctuary of Sarepta Missionary Baptist Church. The Reverend Qunicy W. King, Sr. will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Geraldine leaves to cherish her loving memories with her granddaughter Diamonese Watson, three great grandsons Damonte Atkinson, My ‘Khai Logan and Marquis Watson, her God-daughter, Darlene Lindsay, one sister, Alberta King; one brother, Telia Young, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Especially her best girlfriends Otelia, Mamie, Mary & Vivian Watson.
